Pickleball Rules * Player must bounce the ball before serving the ball. * The serve must be underhand. * The paddle must pass below the waist. * Only one serve is allowed, except if the ball touches the net. Then the serve must be taken over. * At the start of each new game, the 1st serving team is allowed only one fault before giving up the ball to the opponents. * Thereafter the person on the opponents right will serve until they have a fault. * Then the serve comes back to the first team to serve and the person would did not serve the first time. * All return hits must first let the ball bounce once and only once before returning the ball. * The line is inbounds. * A team shall score a point only when serving. *The game is played to 11 points.
Pickleball Terms
Serve - Start of a point
Fault - Hitting the ball out of bounds: Not clearing the net: Hitting the ball before it bounces
Drop Shot - A shot landing close to the net
Lob - Hitting the ball high over the opponent's head.
